Ambitious start up? Hit the spot with NetSuite SuiteSuccess

There’s ambition, drive, talent and capability aplenty in New Zealand which is why we have such large number of people owning and running successful businesses. While most start with an accounting package, just as many rapidly run into limitations – and that’s why I’m pleased to introduce NetSuite’s SuiteSuccess Starter Edition.

Now, the first question any aspirant businessperson is bound to ask – yes, before we even start considering features and benefits – is also a simple one. ‘What’s it cost, mate?’

This question matters because every business must deal with capital allocation and (inevitably) capital constraints. Consequently, for most or nearly all startups and early-stage businesses, basic software (like the Office applications in Microsoft 365, or maybe QuickBooks or the like) is often as far as it goes.

That’s on one hand. On the other, yes, SuiteSuccess Starter Edition is indeed an Enterprise Resource Planning solution, and you’ll appreciate that the words ‘ERP implementation’ and ‘low-cost’ are rarely seen together.

That’s what makes SuiteSuccess Starter Edition such a powerful value proposition. The implementation is a fixed cost for fewer than 10 users, with no customisation. And that cost? Under $15,000.

There are qualifiers for that price tag, with the most notable being the two facts already mentioned. If your business has more than 10 users and if your business requires functionality or features not available in SuiteSuccess Starter Edition, then it isn’t for you.

But if these two crucial factors do describe your organisation, then read on!

As you probably know, NetSuite is a ‘cloud first, cloud only’ ERP solution provider. It’s been around since 1998 (which is, in cloud terms, the very beginning of the beginning). It delivers all the advantages we now take for granted in the cloud: anywhere, any device access, rapid deployment, a unified data model, and lots more. It’s a global leader in cloud ERP, with more than 18,000 organisations relying on the software around the world.

With the SuiteSuccess Starter Edition, you get a basic, standard NetSuite implementation…but that’s just the beginning. It’s called Starter Edition because that’s what it does, boosting your organisation out of the hassle and limitations of accounting software, Excel and other workarounds.

Up and running in a matter of days, SuiteSuccess Starter Edition delivers a ton of seriously useful functionality which equips you to run business better, with more visibility and automation. There are 6 standard roles and dashboards defined, 95 reports and 7 Scorecard KPIs right out of the box. More than core financials, it also has basic projects, pick pack and ship, matrix items and assemblies. In other words, you have real, useful and powerful software at your fingertips, on any device anywhere, from day one.

And when you’re running the business with proper software, you’re free to focusing on growth, not admin.

As the name implies, SuiteSuccess Starter Edition is just that – the start of a path with NetSuite.

As your operations expand and grow, your software expands and grows with you. How far, you ask? As far as you like – NetSuite scales to just about any size, with multi-language, multi-currency, and much, much more.
